welcome to night shining!  we are a quarterly online magazine open to all creatives and any work of transcendent beauty.  our mission is to provide a brief escape from the world, a soft daydream or rush of feeling.  everything is chaos these days, but art and creativity are the truest forms of joy and release.  our name comes from night shining, or noctilucent, clouds, which are the highest clouds in the atmosphere and can be seen glowing on rare nights.  we seek to escape the world to a similar place of calm and beauty.
